Humanitarian Challenge IEEE
The IEEE and the UN along with sponsors such as Vodafone have launched the IEEE Humanitarian Challenge to deliver initially three projects to support. These are for Reliable Electricity the life blood of much that is required for advancement, Data Connectivity initially to support field workers such as remote medical officers to allow provisions of additional services via connections to central Medical support hubs, and the third project is for ID's for Patient Medical records to assist in the provision of better health care.
This is a great project and shall be around for a while to help improve this information.
