This is my site about things of interest to me, I have had a few false starts with setting this site up but now I think I am going to get it going. Joomla is easy to publish with and will allow me to add content quickly.

I have had a technology career for 28 years, implementing telephone exchanges to database, with a lot of other technology in between.

Presently I am working for a small consulting firm Pacific DBMS doing Oracle consulting in Oracle Technology. 

This site is to capture stuff that is interesting to me and might be of interest to others. Unlike some of my fellow technologists I don't do only technology, I am interested in improving people using it, people managing it and  a number of other items outside of direct technology.

Presently I am working  in an Assurance role for a large government site, implementing Oracle technology under ITIL. Not such a technology role but a diversified role, I feel a CISA coming on if I continue with this for a while.
